I replaced my stockers with 265/75/16s and really felt no loss of power at all (and mine is a V6!) As far as gas mileage is concerned, city dropped to 15 mpg, but highway went up to 21. Not bad for a full size truck...

Ok you guys talked me into it, hehe. I don't have any used tire dealers in my area but back at my parents place, there are two $9.99 used tire shops that usually have a lot of good tires at. I will pick up a 16" rim and when I go home next I will look for a 35" tire to mount on this rim to use as a spare.

Now what kind of cheap rim should I buy? What kind of offset should I look for? I know that I will need an 8" wide rim and I could look up the lug pattern.

Thanks,
kev
