Thumbs down No Help fro dealer (2)

Maybe I wasn't clear enough on my first post. My point was that the truck was safetied by the dealer at 45000 km and after just a few weeks I had brake concerns, which they said was a booster (no mention of pads). The dealer should have put pads on when it was saftied, not try to ding me for them 4000km after they so called saftied it!!! Right or Wrong!!!!

I see your point. Unfortunately some these so called "safety" checks are weak attempt to assure you that the used vehicle you are purchasing is in good shape. You can sometimes find an independant mechanic that will do a presale inspection for you. Quite often they find all kinds of things that the dealership claims to have inspected but aren't quite up to snuff.
