I signed up to join this forum because i need help to help my client. His vehicle is an 01 Ford Lightning, it had approximately 200,000+ miles on it.. it was white.. and essentially stock. It is very hard to get comparables in the area (southern california, riverside county). He was involved in an accident and teh vehicle was totally wrecked. The amount they are paying is $9907.. less his deductible it is $8907. Because i can't find comparables in the area.. is this a fair price for a vehicle with such mileage?

There are a few 01 lightnings in GA and FL priced @ 12K - 15K but they are @ 70,000 miles or so..

Your help is greatly appreciated. he is trying to get more from the insurance company.. but i am wondering if it is futile to ask for more if what they are offering is fair. This vehicle is rare now and it is hard to make that determination.
