Ive never been to Hollister, so whats the deal? Separate places for bikes and 4x4s, what about quads? I wont have time to go up to the ranch and tow down my old '77 chevy with lockers and i wont be taking the F150 on any extreme trails since its my DD. I'll just ride along w/ someone if need be.

I'm sure you guys will have plenty of fun. You can mess around at the obstacle course. There are some pretty tame trails we can all drive around on. No worries. More about the BS'in and meeting new people. Plus, always got the mud pit.
Ya no quads in the 4x4 areas, but they do alow side by sides. Don't worry about beating up your truck. That's the beauty of Hollister, there are plenty of trails of varying difficulty. The only thing you may have to worry about are scratches from brush on the trails. If that still bothers you, you are more than welcome to ride with me. They also put in a new obstacle course that is geared more toward less extreme trucks. Here's vid i put together of my buddy's stock blazer last time we went, as you can see all can have a great time:

I am leaning towards camping myself. I don't want to drive all the way back to Vallejo afterwards.

hey just a question who here has bought a new truck? reason i ask i have had mine for a wile but i have not got my tags 
i got my truck on 8-3-2010 thats over 4 months to get tags and plates just seems to long!

Looks like I'll be heading down early Saturday. Leave home around 7. Should be there before 10. Grab a spot and unload. Will definitely camp over night. I can make room in the backseat of the truck for someone, if needed. Towing a trailer, so it'd be nice to meet somewhere easy, off the highway or so. Just let me know, we'll work it out. I'm heading down from the Santa Rosa area.

Sad news guys... my boss rejected my request for the day off, citing that I will be taking a lot of time starting the 28th.
The good is my Jeep's pink slip came in the mail today.
Be sure to take lots of pictures and video for me. It's too bad I won't be there to nearly roll my vehicle down the side of a hill again.
