I got a 2002 harley and
the check engine light is on, as is the temp./oil light.

the codes are:
PO1289- cylinder head temp. low
PO232- fuel pump secondary circuit high.

What do these two mean??

You 2002 should be under warranty.

Best to let the dealer handle it if is.

not under warranty after adding 8lb pulley, chip, throttle bodie. that's why i don't wanna go to the dealer

 

Change out the parts and take it in, doesn't sound like you have anything that difficult to switch out. Reset the computer, and see if the code comes back. If it does, take it into the dealer. If it stays off, one the mods is causing it. Good luck!,,,,98

 

Did you install any new electrical components ? If they are using the wrong the electrical tap it can cause problems as well .
