I have modified my stock intake, but I'd like to replace the intake tube now with a "straight" one, rather than to use the modified stock elbow which has been proven to reduce torque. Is there anyone out there who makes one besides WMS which I beieve wants about $150 for just a tube?

Also, what are the black boxes on the vaccume lines? Is there any benefit in removing them? Thanks!!!

Has anyone seen the intakes on Ebay for $60? How are these?

I bought one of the kits on e-bay and am pertty much satisfied with it I felt some difference in the power and the sound of the engine is 100% better is the K&N kit better I'm sure it is but we all have different budgets maybe in the future I will get the K&N or the AirRaid because I think this one should be considered as a temporary one. As far as the black box on the intake line if I recall it was hooked to the EGR and is metered air I don't think I would try to bypass it. The rubber hoses in the e-bay kit are pertty universal so if you get one plan on doing some modifications to them.
