motor

I have a question? people have been telling me about putting tranny fluid in gas tank to clean the motor and injectors, i was wondering how much would you put in to do this? and how about to a deisel?

I usually split a bottle of Mercon between me and the gas tank when I do this....One for me - "gulp", one for you, one for me, one for you......

Good point (if that is what you intended), I would no sooner put transmission fluid in my gas then I would drink it.

Go to the auto parts store and buy some good fuel injector cleaner.

Get some Techron. Probably the best FI cleaner out there. BMW sells it under their name.

Once a year use a can of BG44K to clean out carbon.

Deisels I don't know about. Don't put it in your Ford gas engine, fuel injected truck.

Costco sells a 2 pack of Chevron Fuel injector cleaner. About $7. Good deal.
