Hey guys,

Well it is time that I get another motor, mine is not blown yet but yesterday morning I noticed some oil under the engine....and this truck has never leaked a drip!! So I got under there and noticed the oil is coming from the passenger side cylinder bank, and from the back cylinder, the starter is in the way so I cant get a clear shot of wear it is coming from...so I assume the gasket is doing all of the leaking, which to tell the truth I am supprised that the motor has lasted this long...I drive the sh*t out her!
Well anyways I have a buddy who owns lots of junkyards across the DFW area, and he just recently pulled a 5.4 out of a 2000 Expy, the expy had been crushed in the rear, the motor should be with the P.I. heads right, since it is 2000, and maybe even the plastic intake...I have not seen the motor yet but it had 26K on it, and for 1275.00 it is alot better then the long block from ford, and this way I get to keep my old motor too.
Will I run into any problem with this swap, I sure hope not but that's why I decided to ask yall'.
