4.6 ignition system upgrades?

anybody know what kind of ignition upgrades are possible with the 2000 4.6s? It has the individual coil packs for each cylinder rather than a single coil, distributor, and plug wires. Does any one make aftermarket coil packs. I have a 2000 model truck, but it just had a new engine put in. They (Ford) used the old parts off my first engine and i thnk I would benefit from a new or upgraded ignition system. Thoughts?

Give Mike Troyer from Performance Products, Inc a call...he's a subject matter expert when it comes to upgrading all kinds of stuff for your truck...he can be reached at: I just purchased new coil packs, wires, and plugs...getting ready to put them in this afternoon.

This place appears to have the best stuff
Accel Coil pack part# ACC140018 $54.95X2
9mm Ford Racing plugs part # FMS-M-12259T462 $89.95
as for spark plugs you can get them from a local parts store I have seen allot of people perfer Motocraft platnum but if you want to spend mega dollars the Denso Irdiums are the way to go $11.00 a piece
