Hi guys. I have a 2000 f150 xl and have had a problem with it since about 3100 miles it now has 15,000 miles on it. I have the V6 not the 8 and the truck over idles at a stop/neutral position like a tank. Took it into the dealer around 8k and was told there is no problem. When I got the oil changed at 15 I told them again and I got the same response. I have been reading the forums and the over idle seams to be with the 8 not the 6 am I correct or misreading? I really want this problem fixed but I am not sure what to do at this point. I did not spend 20,000 on a car that idles worse then my dads 10 year old truck.
