Post changeing plugs in a 4.6L

I was wondering how hard it is to replace the plugs in a 4.6L? Should i take it to my dealer? Also What plugs should i put in it?


97 F-150 XLT S/C, SHORT BOX 4*4
4.6L BONE STOCK.(GOTTA PAY HER OFF BEFORE I MODIFY IT!}

yup, first time. I had Matt90GT there and he told me what to do. I just put the basic copper plugs in. 4.6L. Just gotta have the right utencils for the job i guess.

It is not that bad, I changed mine last weekend and put in just a basic plug. $1 a piece. It took me like 45 minutes.

Very good time Cowboy-Up. Was that your first time? Took me four hours on a 5.4 the first time. I don't think there is much difference in the plug placement, just those darn individual coils!!!! What a PITA. Did you put in Platnums? I guess if it only takes you 45 minutes, then changing them out once a year would not be such a big deal anyway.

I put in the Bosch +4's. Not worth the money if you ask me. No major difference at all. Only difference was old plugs and new ones is all. Will go back to the Motor Crafts or maybe just the $1 ones. I love turing wrenches, and not much else to tinker with on these new motors.... Of course, you could spend $$$$$ for add ons!!
