Post A/C Problems?? URGENT GUIDANCE please!

Okay, I've had a problem with my A/C since I drove the truck off the lot. It just went in for a 3rd time to get fixed...

What's happening is; somehow I'm losing all my freon from somewhere...my A/C is always cycling excessively (clicking every 5-10 seconds, constantly) and after a few weeks of being fixed, it begins to blow just regular air.

They've replaced the unit, they've checked every spot for a leak using a blacklite and dye, and they've replaced every seal but have found no cause...

Has anyone else had a similar problem and found a solution? My dealer wants me to come in once a week from now on so they can follow the problem and watch it develop, hoping to find the cause.

Also, if anyone can tell me how often their A/C compressor cycles (clicks)...you can hear it under the hood while the A/C is on. Thanks in advance!

This question actually belongs in the HVAC section.

Your dealer needs a new A/C guy. If you're losing refrigerant, there's a leak and a leak detector can find it in minutes. I have yet to hear of a leak that can't be detected.

My 1998 5.4 F150 developed A/C problem last summer, took in in Sept. they found no Freon, added Freon and dye... by Dec. had same problem, just talked to Fred Jones here in Oklahoma City and they are telling me no leak can be detected and want to charge me again under my ESP warranty $100 with no slack for the other two times they have come up with the same results. Seems to be problem with several others. Would like to know where the leak is or do they find it after warranty is up?

If they have check outside then I would start on the inside (the evaporator coil). There is a LEAK and It could be from vibration/pressure change (expansion, contraction)
