Seems to me the TFI always fails when hot. Most of them work OK when it's cold then geive up when hot.

That's it.... I replaced the TFI Module, working great now. The guy at Discount Auto Parts also said they sell lots of TFI modules. I also had to get the special tool to remove the bolts. Thanks a bunch jstang.

I hope they supplied you with the dielectric grease, that goes on back when mounting. It helps in keeping that unit cool.Also check you dist for excessive shaft play, that can effect the hall sensor, and be one of the reasons the TFI failed.

Yes, the dilectric grease came with the TFI module. I'll check the dist. for the shaft play you mentioned. Thanks for your help.
