Can I clean the MAF? If I can what can I use and how would I go about cleaning it? Could I change out the computer for one from a 2001 with the 4.6 and auto tranny? If I did would I get more power or what?

Okay, so wiggle the sucker out of the housing, remove the electronics. Use either brake cleaner in a spray can or electric motor cleaner. Anything that will not leave a film on it.
Shoot the wire end it to clean it. Should be really silver there. Do NOT damage it. let it dry and then reassemble.
