? adjusting new TPS
I'm going to replace the TPS on my 92 F150 5.8 tomorrow. I've read the archives about adjusting and setting the TPS to about .98-.99 of a volt.
To be able to adjust, do you ream out the mounting holes a little to be able to twist to get the extra voltage? Since this is new, I already have the throttle Body off, can I adjust the TPS, then mount the Throttle Body?
It looks like the TPS just sits back on the mounting holes, no adjusting required?
Thanks
Ron

Yes, you have to elongate the holes a bit. Do it in an oval shape that follows the path of arc of the bolts.
You have to mount the TB in the car and turn the ignition to ON before being able to read the TPS.
Dont go above .98, otherwise you will have idle problems. from .96-.98 will do the trick.
Stock there are no adjustments to it. So this is why you modify it.
