I picked up some of that water version of CD-2 - i'll post my results, as per what y2k 7700 said.

I have a full tank of gas (was 55c a litre yesterday!) so it'll be a couple weeks before i'm at 1/4 of a tank as per the instructions.

I'll post my results.

I'm bringing this back to the top, as i finally got the CD-2 in my motor today. After it sat for about 7 hrs, i started it up - 100% no lifter tick.

There had been a couple postings about this recently and as well on the email list.

i hear the tick too in the morning when my trucks been sitting all nite. but it does go away after about a couple of minutes. i hope its not metal hitting metal

Great information! Mine makes this noise from time to time..just a quick second at start up. I have been using Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 filter. I am going to check for the CD-2 product in my area and give it a shot.
