Hi guys, I'm from Quebec Canada and I went to my dealer this morning to know the verdict for my 1" radiator. I bought my f-150 4x4 2000 with the towing package last year. The dealer said to me , according to the manual, there's only one kind of rad who fit there and I have the good one. They don't want to change it. So I decide to call Ford service. The women from Ford said to me, Ford gone approuve the dealer because they are the "technical guys" and they know what they are doing. What the fu&*?&?&!!!! is it... ?. So I said to her that the problem is coming from the building shop and the engineering not the dealer. She looked in the computer about that, and she saw nothing about this problem from Ford. I asked her were I can call to reach someone FOR real technical support, she answers me nobody...So now, the only thing I can do, is write a beautiful letter to Ford Canada and hope.
I would like to know, if someone own a F-150 2000, and they did the upgrade free.

yes - my 2000 had the 1.02 replaced with the 1.42 inch radiator. I just showed them a copy of the pages from Ford's source book, explained that the model number on the radiator in my truck was for the radiator for the non-towing package truck. They ordered a new one and put it in.

You might try another dealer.
