Engine Swap

I recently trashed out my 302 block on my 89 f150. i found another engine for fairly cheap and running. the thing is it is carburated i was wondering if i could strip that engine down to the block and transfer all my efi bull **** over on to my new block. if anyone know if i can do this or if any one knows where i can get a cheap efi 302 in the michigan/detroit area please let me know.

the base engine is the same, just make sure it has a 302 firing order cam in it, and not a 351/302HO one.

Hmmmm, I think that would be a much bigger problem than it seems. I know some engines, im thinking in the lines of a 460, have a different bellhousing than the efi do. It all depends on what year carb engine you have. If it were me I would just go look for a 302 efi or go with the carb.
