Personally I have never heard the line -That's Normal- prior to getting involved with Ford but do these guys (Service Writers, Techs Etc) actually believe this or is there a more sinister motive involved ? Also, Now that I am out of warranty, I bet I will not hear "that's normal" ever again !

You should ask them if they mean "That's a normal operating condition" or if it means "Yeah that's a normal problem with these trucks that we would fix if it wasn't under warrenty"
