Fuel filter replacment

Its time for me to replace my fuel filter, I am having trouble getting the damn thing off. The clips are easy but pulling the hose off is giving me trouble. Anybody else have this problem if so how did you fix it?

Hey laloma,
I just replaced mine this morning, and I bought a set of the quick connect removal tools at autozone for 10 bucks and slid the corresponding sized plastic tool over the filter tube then pushed it into the fuel line and heard a small click then with a little patience and tugging and pulling and several cuss words later they came off. I had more trouble with the clamp though.

Hope this helps
Scott

push the hose towards the filter at the same time that you are applying pressure with the tool. this will seat the tool further under the clips
