I just tried your TPS mod and came up with 1.031 VDC. Should I mess with it?? I probed center wire with ignition on. Where did I go wrong? Is the 4.6 different???

 

HI!... BLACKENEDFORD : Do you have idle problems at all with your truck? Almost everytime I have seen someone go past 1.00 volts they usually have idle problems (SURGES). Mine did when I went past 1.00 volts. There has been a few people on this board that have gone past 1.00 volts and hav'nt had a problem. If it has no side effects on your truck, then keep it there. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks Neal for your help. My truck does surge but not as bad as some people on this board. Sometimes my idle drops to about 600 RPM then to 900, then comes to rest at 800. Not too terrible. Anyway maybe Ill try lowering the voltage and see if it clears up. Thanks bro.
