Question Can Somebody Explain ?

Why is it that on Magnacharger's web site they list the price of their supercharger kit for a 5.4 for $4230 and on Kar Kraft's web site I can buy a whole brand new lightning motor complete with supercharger for $3600. This doesn't make sense to me. Please, someone, help me understand.

Sence it is a add on, the cost is higher. They can make more money. Plus I beleive there is a different type of trans too. So the cost would go up. Or baybe I really don't know what I am talking about.
I have seen where you buy part by part is higher than the same all the parts at one time cheaper. Good Luck

Okay the reason the whole motor is cheaper is cause they bought them in a bulk and can sell them for less.

I think the L's run at 7-8 lbs of boost, but with an aftermarket charger, you could crank it up to 12 pounds and get a super-cab 4x4 to hang with them.... I've actually been contemplating it, but this year it's jet-skis, next year it's a faster boat, so maybe the year after it'll be time for the blower.
