Well, took it in to a few different dealers around town to get some ideas about how much I could get for my ride. Heres the kicker out here my particular combination is extremely rare it seems. I keep seeing the 4.6 or 4x2 versions but I've really yet to see to many esp. with the few added extras.
Anyhow, I was at Vision Ford in Alamagordo yesterday looking at PSD. While I was with the sales guy the manager drove my truck as part of the inspection. When he returned he asked if it was fully stock?
Yep.
No Chip?
Nope.
Gears?
Nope.
What else you done?
Nothing.
Exhaust and K&N filter.
Thats all??
deep breath..... yessss.

Well, he thought it was one of the strongest running 5.4L he's been in. A SC 4X4 w/ 3.55 and an auto???
Now mind you, this was already after I decided not to get a new PSD from this guy.
For what it's worth he really talked it up even though I wasn't going to buy new. Just thought it was interesting that this sales manager was that impressed. BTW, you should have seen the look on this guys face when he came back and the first words out of his mouth were "WoW, that thing flies!".
Also, this isn't the first time i've had this comment out of a sales or shop guy.
I guess I got a good one.

 

damn bloody me got a 4.6 slug, mines about as gutless as an austin mini..hehe.

though i did get 17.4@79mph at the track the other night. Is that any good for a 4.6

Ya, I guess I can't bitch now, esp considering I've never taken it to the track. Hell, esp considering the weights though, we are doing pretty good, eh?!!
