question for steve41
Did you put your radio in yourself? Did you just have am/fm cassette before you changed it? What all did you have to trim before it would fit? I got mine partly in but it is being pushed down in the back so the bottom part of the front sticks out.

Yes, I installed it myself. My truck came with the AM/FM single CD stock. The front of the factory unit is double din but slopes down in the center on back to about single din. There is a chunk of plastic coming down from the inside of the dash that serves as a hanger for the rear of the stock unit. You have to cut that away so it will clear the FH-P4400, which is double din the entire depth. What holds the unit in are two l-brackets from a universal install kit. I screwed into the black plastic structural part of the dash to hold it in. It's been 5 months and it has not budged. You may also want to trim about 1/2" around the bezel stereo opening to make the head unit more flush with the dash. You may also want to shave down the piece of black plastic above the temperature control (where the bottom of the head unit sits) to make the unit sit lower. I used my handy Dremel tool with an assortment of cutting/grinding wheels to make it just right. It took me two nights to do it. Not a quick deal but I liked the outcome. Good luck
