Question Clean Engine?

What works best to have a nice, clean engine? Not the inside but outside.

I like to use simple green. I cover up the electronics and just spray it on, let it sit and then spray off with water. Usually then i wipe down the hoses and any other plastic to remove any spots and residue.

The best I have found is "Steam Clean" it comes in a black and crome colored can. Spray it on your engine when it is warm and it emulsifies to the grime...great stuff, When I got my F150, I had no idea that it had crome injector tubes...they shine now.
