Lower radiator hose
My father in-law has a 2001 F-350, with the Powerstroke diesel. I noticed fluid on the ground at the front of the vehicle, under the radiator. Found out that it was anti-freeze. While checking the lower radiator hose, and adjusting the clamp, the clamp broke into two pieces. The piece that broke off was about 1.5" long. There was still enough clamp to barely go around the hose, half way. Looks like some sort of embrittlement/stress problem with the material. He took it to the dealer, and they are going to have to order a new hose, because the sharp end of the broke portion dug into the hose.
