Both of these trucks are 84 one has an inline 6 the other a 302, can the transmissions or engines either way be swapped, that is to say will the 84 302 bolt up to the inline 6 tranny?,

This is for a friend without internet. If I were their to look at them I would be able to tell but I'm a couple hrs away. and his descriptions are lacking to say the least. Please any help is apreciated
