75 Mm T/b's

Hey i have a 97 4.6... i was wondering what t/b you guys like better the BBK or the HOLLY ??? price is pretty close so that really doesn't matter...do you need a chip reburn with one..??

HI!... Actually BBK and EDELBROCK are the only two one's that make 75MM TB's. HOLLEY makes a 80mm TB but it will not bolt to a 4.6/5.4 unless you do some massive fabricating and porting/polishing. Also if you decide to go with a bigger aftermarket TB like a 75MM unit then you should PORT/POLISH the TB ELBOW to match it or you are doing nothing. The stock TB ELBOW is only 68 - 70MM in diameter.

Hey Neal ...i new you were lurking heh heh..yeah i have the elbow already off going to order the t/b tonight ...thank for the info .....i saw you have the 80 but i think thats a little too much for me....do you reccomend any other mod while i'm at it..

I have had the BBK for a year or so on my 97 4.6 xlt and it's fine. No reburn necessary.
