75 Mm T/b's

Hey i have a 97 4.6... i was wondering what t/b you guys like better the BBK or the HOLLY ??? price is pretty close so that really doesn't matter...do you need a chip reburn with one..??

ROUSHFAN-1 05-12-2002 06:22 PM

i know your out there?

HI!... Actually BBK and EDELBROCK are the only two one's that make 75MM TB's. HOLLEY makes a 80mm TB but it will not bolt to a 4.6/5.4 unless you do some massive fabricating and porting/polishing. Also if you decide to go with a bigger aftermarket TB like a 75MM unit then you should PORT/POLISH the TB ELBOW to match it or you are doing nothing. The stock TB ELBOW is only 68 - 70MM in diameter.

I have had the BBK for a year or so on my 97 4.6 xlt and it's fine. No reburn necessary.
