I've had trouble with my truck surging and stalling frequently. I've narrowed it down to a fuel pump problem and I was wondering how to check the pressure on my pump. I know that my truck has 3 pumps (1 for each fuel tank, and one external one) and I'm wondering how to check the pressure on the external one.

There is a fuel pressure tap on the fuel rail under the hood. The six is near fire wall and eights are near dist. if I remember right.
