glue a copper penny on top of the battery and the corrision wont go on the cables

That truck looks very new.
Assuming its the oldest model a 97 im amazed they went bad like that. How about a little more detail

I am planning on changing that cable since the connector to the battery was so badly corroded that it is not working anymore. I can not adjust it to the pole for a tight fit and now that I have a new battery I want everything looking and working neat. I wouldn't be surprised that mine looks like that one. We'll see.
