Post Which Supercharger??

I am considering adding a supercharge to my truck. Does anyone have one installed on their truck and which one... Vortex or Paxton.. Vortex seems to be superior to the Paxton just by looking on their website. Does anyone have any real world experience with either brand?

I consider the Paxton or ATI among the best choices of the centrifugal types. The Vortech requires external lubrication. This means tapping your oil pan.

I agree, but the Paxton Novi head unit (the one available for the 4.6 /5.4) requires extrenal lubrication as well. The Paxton "SN" series doesn't require external lubrication, but this head unit is not available on our trucks. Out of all the centrifugals, expect the best "low RPM boost response" from the Novi. Instant hit, flat torque, look no farther than a positive displacement blower.....Magnacharger......Holley......Kenne Bell......Whipple (soon).

Good Luck!
