KIAL why didn't you tell him how to do it yourself. When you jumped on everyone case about telling him how wrong it is. Then you would have been the big hero making the rest of us look bad. Since you didn't your just as bad as the rest of us by not giving him the answer he is looking for.

RUS:

I'd buy your truck in a second! Its gotta be all highway miles! For the price its gotta be the best bargain. As long as you had receipts showing all fluid changes.

KIAL:

I agree with you. We dont know all the facts yet. Maybe he's installing some white-faced gauges or doing some tinkering with the dash and needs to disconnect the thing LEGALLY to remove another part! HOWEVER, it does sound fishy! Perhaps if you guys hadn't prematurely ejaculated all over yourselves you could have start-off by ASKING HIM WHY. He might have told us before we all assumed. Now we'll never know the truth.

Young people... So quick to jump! Just another reason why women like older men!

ddchant,

Here is the answer to the questiom. Yes, I do know how to disable the odometer (odemeter) on a 1997 flairside 4x4. Now answer my question. Why?

Kindest regards

Jean Marc Chartier

KenStar unless your car is completly stock, then Id sway towards something being illegal on your car in some aspect. Didnt someone say you could buy a car off the showroom floor drive it then get pulled over because it doesnt meet dot standards. And Im sure you dont speed bud, I want to follow your angelic example.
