Hello,
Sorry for this but I thought I should share the info to possibly help you guys out with pinging problem.
I poured a bottle of Berryman's B-12 CHEMTOOL® TOTAL FUEL SYSTEM CLEAN-UP

into the tank and the results amazed me…
Although the temperature went up from 40 top 80 along with tire pressure my MPG went up from 16.5 to almost 20.0 and all even slightest detonation (pinging) is gone!
Maybe it's worth to try it,
