Post Synthetic Oils

I think I have finally decided to try full synthetic in my New F150. I plan on running this truck into the ground (hopefully a nearly trouble free 200k or more) I have always been a big Valvoline Fan, never would run anything else. (Wouldnt recommend Pennzoil to the devil himself.) So those with experience on Synthetic please help me. I have a good friend who runs synthetic in all his vehicles. Very meticulous man, owns a Servicemaster Franchise and is very successful. All his company rigs have super high mileage and hard use on the engines and they keep runnin like new (did I forget to mention all his trucks are Fords!) He uses AMSOIL and I know lots of you all do to. Read other threads on the topic and thought what the H*** lets do it again for the new kid. So how do you like it? Everything you thought it would be and more? Do you all have the Dual Oil Filter system on yours? Oil change Frequency? Bring it on, the good and the bad!

I use Amsoil 0W30 synthetic & SDF11 filter. I change both every 10,000 miles & no problems whatsoever...Mark

Here are a few pics of a Dual By-pass mounted on an F250.

The bracket is a special made one, that is designed to protect from rocks and debris from the front and the bottom. This bracket is avaiable for purchase(I get them in quantity)if you decide to put the system on.
Filter changes would be around 12,500 miles for the white filter(full flow) and 25,000 miles or more for the black one(by-pass filter)

You would need to do oil analysis do determine your oil change interval.
It is very possible to go 100,000 miles plus without an oil change with this by-pass set-up.

The by-pass filters down to 1/10 of a micron and 100% effeciency at 3 micron, and 99% at 1 micron.

Typically a normal filter will filter only down to 20-30 microns, and New Oil is only filtered to 20 microns.

Here is more information on the by-pass filter and set-up:
