Post Reseting Computor

I have a question if anyone can help. I recently joined F-150 online and been reading alot about reseting the computor after any mod such as air intake, exhaust, or chip.I plan on doing some mods soon and would like to know if this is neccesary and is if so, could someone show me how.

It would be greatly appreciated

Hey stayblown yes you should reset your computer by removing your negative battery cable and leave disconnected for about 10-15 minutes and to make sure the computer resets tap the ground to the positive battery post no this will not short anything but it will remove any memory from your computer.

Disconnect negative cable and turn on lights to drain any residual energy, that will reset your computer.
