Post airaid intake system

I am new to truck modifications and to this web site. I am looking at possibly getting an airaid for my truck and was wondering if it was worth the money? I was also wondering if you actually got the hp the said you would get from it.I would also like to know if another company makes a better one? Any assistance would be appreciated. 2001 SuperCrew, 4x4, Lariet, 5.4L, 3.55LS. I am assuming that this will not affect the factory warranty?

Stop worrying. Get the Airaid, k&n, or the AirForceOne & be happy. They all work very well...Mark...aka sundayniagara@hotmail.com...doorslammer69 email is gone...

Skinny, there is a noticable difference with the f.i.p.k install, it also helped my mpg. A steady increase of 1 mpg. I installed the AirForce One, just due to the looks of it over the Airaid and K&N. They all perform about the same. The installations are also easy for even the novice. Have fun with whichever you get

Skinny-
I installed the Airaid on my 2K 5.4L Expy and love it. Yes, you will notice a performance improvement and I think the look of the Airaid is great.

But, as Newbie46 suggsted, you may want to think about the Superchip first. I performed both mods (see sig) and the best bang for the buck is the chip.
