Temp up, Oil pressure down!!!
Hey Everyone, I'm new so bare with me...
I own a 1985 f150 with the straight 6
and when the motor warms up the oil
pressure drops. I have to rev it up to
try to keep the oil pressure up.
we have tried to clean the screen and
go with a thicker Oil but still the same thing. Any id's.
I also own a silver 1998 f150 4x4 offroad 4.6
and I love it...
thanks

I had an 86 bronco that did the same thing.
Would have good oil pressure when you start it up. But after it was warm it would fall to nothing.
I would check your oil sending unit. If it was replaced make sure you have the right one.
I'm sure you still have good pressure. Or else your engine would have been messed up by now. with low oil pressure, the temps would rise. Also your oil would oxidize and get thick in a hurry because of it.
