engine swap

i currently have a 96 f150 with a 302. i want to install a 351w, but wondering what all has to be changed in the process. any info will greatly be appreciated. thanks

It should drop right in, i believe the bellhousing pattern for the tranny is the same and the moutor mounts are the same. The 351 after all is really a 302 block that Ford stroked out.

well, youre gonna need engine, wiring harness, computer, induction, and exhaust from the 351. good thing is, you can keep your tranny. but if you have an auto, make usre that the 351 computer u get works with your tranny. try posting in the Pre-97 forum, you'll find out all you need there. good luck!
