I got an electric fan out of a 3.0L Mercury Sable that i sent to the junk yard. I want to put it in a vehicle with a 3.9L engine so hopefully it has enough cooling capacity. I'm guessing i will need some sort of aftermarket control unit for it. There is a box mounted above the fan that says "Relay-Multifunction Control". It has about 20 wires coming out of it. I don't see any thermometers in the general area so i'm guessing the fan is controlled by the computer via the cooland temp sensor. Any ideas on the cheapest way to hook this up so that it goes on and off automatically?
