How many Effies have been Magnacharged?
How do you like the power, torque, installation? Would you give it a definate recommend?

Crash - So how do you choose which type of supercharger is right for what you want?
The roots chargers hit their peak power at low rpm's which is nice, but I'm not sure if I want that all the time. And the centrifugals take time too boost up, but can make more power in the long run. So for me it's either the Magnacharger or the ATI.
Most of my shifting points are about 2000rpm, and I consider shifting slightly over 3000rpm to be accelerating quickly, I don't remember ever going over 4000rpm while accelerating (did it once by accident at a light, stepped on the gass while in neutral and didn't notice it at first).

You should be shifting close to 5000 rpm if you wanna get the most out of a supercharger. I'd even consider raising the shift points to 5200 rpm.

I could not be happier with my Magnacharger installed by Crash! and Mudder. My truck is still a work in progress but I just had it dynoed this month and here is that run:
I am running a custom Superchip and the Fuel/Air is right where it should be. I will be doing some further exhaust mods later this month then installing an Auburn Pro.

Hi Crash! 98Screamer was over yesterday and we went for a little spin around the neighbor hood. He has a beautiful truck and he may have been bitten by the supercharger bug yesterday. He is enroute to Houston today. Maybe he will give us his driving impressions.

crash - what do you mean the centrifugal gets 'full boost when you shift'. I though they produced more boost as the rpm's went up?
And Crash - do you have a superchip, if not how is the A/F ratios w/out it?
Also I got a manual, so the Superchip won't be needed for my shift points.
