17 year old thing

Hey coming from another 17 year old, the best bang for the buck, intake, exhaust and headers. If your looking for other things, a larger throttle body and intake manifold would increase airflow, and like someone else said, a new cam would help too. You cant forget about the computer chip, that would allow you to go more than 98 mph, which reallly sucks. Ive got a 93 5.0, and trust me, these mods create a whole new truck. I can compete with midly modified mustangs and camaros without thinking twice. And youve got to love they're faces when a pickup is pulling on them, and kicking their as*. If youve got questions you can ask me, ive got bigger plans(heads, pistons, crank- basically engine rebuild). Even though ur not a flareside stlye truck, go to www.flareside.com Its got lots of mod tips for the older style f150s, and wayne the owner knows his stuff!

you can win.
i have a 90 F150 w/ 302 . it is a reg cab SWB i can put my speedo around and back to 0 . lol.. i have it so it shifts @ WOT about 4500 rpm . I CAN LIGHT EM UP . whenever i want . i have a homemade FIPK and also have exhaust(check sig.) that is the only mods i have so far . gears are 3.55's and my tires are stock size (28" ) i estimate i have had it to around abouts 120 mph or so given my speedo only goes to 85 .. there are alot of things you can do to increase your HP . i'd start with exhaust . maybe some 3.55's . underdrive pully's. electric fans . chip . all will see about a 1% HP gain.

yeah i wish i could light em up whenever i wanted if i changed my gears to 3.55s or 3.73s im sure i could but with these 3.31s i can only do it on certain roads and it is very week
LOL but if i want to light em up i can take out my 71 cutlass 442 and smokem down the block but its not my daily driver im not gonna race my truck loose then get the 442 and try to find em to win i want to be able to blow em away in my truck but as i mentioned before im on a limited budget however im thinking of gears exhaust headers and a Crane Compucam what we work best for me?
