My '98 5.4 4wd has factory alarm & keyless remote. For several months, the alarm goes off (panic mode, flashing headlamps etc) at odd times ALL BY ITSELF - 4 am when everyone is asleep, the trucks locked in my garage and the alarm isn't even set (doors are unlocked) - anyway, something is triggering the panic mode and I don't know what - it's done it away from home too, when it was locked - it's starting to become a nuisance - any ideas ?

 

Just want this post near the top, please respond if you have any useful advice, I've got horns blowing and lights flashing and the neighbors are giving me dirty looks. Thanks

 

Somebodies garage door opener or cordless phone might have the same frequency,maybe? Does it do it if it's armed?,,,98
