I've done the 3 'bang for you buck', air filter, chip and cat-back. Any other ideas for more HP on a 2001 4.6 this side of a supercharger?

you might try a set of power pulleys and upgrade to a electric cooling fan, good for about 12-15 hp. also headers good for 15 hp i hope this helps. ( i will be doing all this to my truck as time and money allow).

thanks for the reply. How much is involved with the pulleys? How much do they cost and what do they do? Are headers legal for california smog?

The power pulleys under drive the water pump and other accessories to free up more power they cost about 180 dollars, as for the headers they do make a set and they are about 450 dollars you can find both of these items in the online store here at f-150 online. hope this helps you out. if you have any more questions just ask.
