K. Jones,
Sorry to hear of your problem, I know it can be frustrating. Have you tried to isolate the exhaust system? I have read others posts on this board about exhaust vibrations. Try doing a search on this topic, it may help.

I too have/had this vibration problem and I isolated it to the exhaust system by tieing the pipe behind the muffler to the frame and it went away.
Ford sends a weight that bolts on to the exhuast and one has to move it around to get the vibration to go away. My 2001 had one weight already on it just in front of the muffler. Ford sent another. After the dealer messed with it for an afternoon the vibration was still there but not as bad. I then took it home and put the truck on stands and ran it and moved both weights and finally got it to remove 90% of the vibration by moving both weights. My vibration was right at 55 at its worst. I don't feel it in the steering any more and is very slight and is hardly noticable now. It took some time and several different positions of moving both weights but it is much better now.
