frequent dying of engine
We have been having problems with our 98 f150
dying. It is a stickshift and sometimes when we start it immediately dies. We try to drive it to the dealer about 10 miles away and it dies everytime you take your foot off the accelerator which is frequent living on winding roads and being a stick. I had to start it 28 times to drive 10 miles to dealer. Of course when it got there, it quit. They couldn't find anything wrong with it. It continues but sometimes does it after we get to a short destination and it sits for an hour. We start it and it does it again. It does go away sometimes quickly, sometimes not. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am a female and know nothing about this stuff but would like to be a little educated next time I take it in for this. Happy Thanksgiving!

If all else fails leave it at the dealer overnight and let them start it when it is cold.

We have left it at the dealer and of course it doesn't do it. Doesn't seem to be a cold problem. -4 with windchill today and it ran fine. Will check into the other suggestion. Thanks for the help.
