You'll find a lot of good info in the Computer chips section of these message boards, where we discuss the topic of Computer chips.
Briefly, the Superchip is the only one that provides a program made specifically for the exact software revision in your vehicle's computer, and the only one that adds power at all throttle positions. The other chipmakers such as Jet, Hypertech, etc., do completely "generic" programs, meaning for example, only one program for all 1998 4.6 automatic F-150's, whereas we make a different program for each of the anywhere from 80-150 different factory programs released each model year for these F-150's. In addition, most people are not aware of the fact that even for a brand new vehicle, there are no emissions standards that have to be met during full-throttle operation, and this is why the other chipmakers only tune on full-throttle, so they don't have to go thru the expense of certifying for emissions compliance like we do, etc.
The bottom line is the Superchip is the only one that makes a program for your specific vehicle, and that adds power at all throttle positions.

I WAS WONDERING WHAT U GUYS THINK ABOUT CHIPS . WHO MAKES THE BEST , JET ETC.. I HAVE A 2001 F-150 5.4L SUPERCAB . MY MODS AFTER ONE WEEK ARE 3" FABTECH SPINDLES , 285/75R16 TIRES, AIRIAD INTAKE SYSTEM, 50 SERIES DELTAFLOW FLOWMASTER, I WANT TO KNOW THE PROS AND CONS ON CHIPS. CAUSE THE GUYS AT THE SHOP , JUST WANT TO SELL U ANYTHING , BUT U GUYS ON HERE ARE MY BEST SOURCE FOR INFO. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

I have a Superchip with a custom code specifically for the Magnacharger, and you can get one programmed for your application.
I couldn't be happier with it! The performance increase is impressive, and the drivability improvements alone make it worth the money; especially if you have an automatic!
