Hey found a small leak of antifreeze dripping off the bottom of the oil pan, traced it back to the water pump anybody ever had that, was curious if that particular water pump has a weep hole to let you know if the seal is bad inside or maybe its one of the gaskets just tryin to figure out what I am gonna need before I start, any info would be appreciated. 97 4.2L V-6

 

all water pumps i've ever changed had weep holes . and if it is leaking like it is coming out from under the pulley then yes it is leaking out the weep hole and the seals are bad .

What kind of high volume oil pump do you have?
I'd like to add one to my little 4.2L.
