Question O/T Brake Controller in Engine Bay

I just bought a '98 F-150 4X4 w/Offroad and towing package. On the electrical hookup for the trailer, it says 'electric brakes' on the plastic cover, along with 'stop lamps', etc. It has the ford emblem on the cover. Does it actually have electric brakes, or is it set up for it? I looked in the engine bay and me and another guy couldn't find the controller for the brakes. Do i have an electric brake hookup?

dan you have to install the relay in the electrical distribution box under the hood . then you should have gotten a wiring harrness for the brake controller that plugs in under the dash . thats what you connect your brake controller you have to buy to. i wire them all the time . since i am a service manager for an R.V. dealership.......lol
