Question battery or belt?

I notice when I quickly accelrate and my headlights are on my battery light flickers at me when the RPMs are up. The headlights also go dim til I get off the throttle a little.

The truck starts up fine and the dealer claims to have checked the belt. Sound like a battery to anyone?

What does your voltmeter read when this happens?

It sounds like the voltage regulator on your alternator is going bad.
